How to protect yourself and your loved ones during an enemy air attack
We remind you of the rules of behavior during an air raid to protect yourself and your loved ones, UNN writes, citing information from the Ministry of Reintegration.
If you hear sirens while outside:
- quickly go to the nearest shelter (underpass, subway station, parking lot, or bomb shelter);
- stay away from buildings of strategic importance or critical infrastructure.
If you hear sirens while you are at home:
- Turn off all electrical appliances, turn off the gas and, if available, extinguish open sources of fire (stoves, stoves, fireplaces);
- quickly leave the room and head for the nearest shelter;
- do not use elevators during the air raid. Take the stairs only;
- if there is no safe shelter nearby, stay at home and choose a safe place in accordance with the two-wall rule. Stay away from windows
