USAID to help with the construction of a European railroad between Poland and Ukraine

Ukraine will build a 1435 mm wide European gauge railroad from Mostyska to Lviv. The project was supported by the United States, which confirmed its intentions in a memorandum with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This modernization is aimed at increasing Ukraine's export potential and integration into the EU, including both freight and passenger transportation.
On the section from Mostyska station, which is located on the border with Poland, to Lviv (Sknyliv) will be constructed with a width of 1435 mm.
