According to Vance, he will only be able to stay in Switzerland for "a day or two," but hopes to make progress in negotiations regarding the handling of Iran's nuclear materials.
"We will have political leadership at the highest level (during the negotiations – ed.), and then, obviously, a technical team will remain on the ground,"
He emphasized that currently "the situation is one that we will simply have to constantly manage."
"These are two important things we will focus on. I am sure the Iranians will also have issues they would like to discuss," said the U.S. Vice President.
Reminder
The day before, the Iranian delegation departed for Switzerland for negotiations with the United States on resolving the conflict and a future nuclear agreement.
