The head coach of the Ukraine U-21 youth national team has ended his cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Football
The UAF thanked Melgosa for his work and wished him success in his further career.
Melgosa began his work in July 2023. Under the guidance of the Spanish coach, the Ukraine U-21 national team qualified for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

Italian coach Andrea Maldera has taken charge of the Ukraine national football team after the dismissal of Serhiy Rebrov. Previously, Maldera had worked in the national team as an assistant to head coach Andriy Shevchenko, who currently holds the position of head of the UAF.
