Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 78 enemy attacks at the frontline over the last day - General Staff

In the area of responsibility of the "North" in the Volyn and Polissya directions the operational situation remains without significant changes.

On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening areas, increases the density of minefields  along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the "Khortytsia" separate military unit on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Sinkivka and Petropavlivka Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks.

In the Liman direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Serebryanske forestry of Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, Torske in the Donetsk region. Here, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks.

In the Bakhmut sector, our defenders repelled 28 attacks of the enemy near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating on the achieved frontiers.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria separate motorized brigade in the Avdiivka sector , the enemy did not fire. direction , the enemy keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding defense, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. The enemy's offensive actions to the east of Novobakhmil were unsuccessful. the enemy east of Novobakhmutivka, northeast of Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Opytne, Severne, and south of Tonenke in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction the invaders, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, the Defense Forces repelled 9 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
