Zelenskyy announced Ukraine's refusal to continue transit of Russian gas through the country. Ukraine is ready to consider gas transit from other countries, but not from Russia.

Ukraine will not continue to transit Russian gas. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference in Brussels, UNN reports.

“We will not continue the transit of Russian gas. We will not allow them to earn additional billions on our blood. And any country in the world that can get something cheap from Russia will eventually become dependent on Russia - this is their policy. Therefore, we will not transit Russian gas,” Zelensky said.

Zelenskyy said he had spoken to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico about this topic.

Today, my colleagues and I spoke, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia spoke today. I clearly explained to him that if it is not gas from Russia, from another country, if a European country is ready to receive gas and not pay this money to Russia until the war is over, then we can think about it. But we will not give Russia the opportunity to earn extra money from this war

- Zelensky said.
