Ukraine is expecting intense heat this weekend, temperatures will rise to +35 degrees

After a relatively moderate start to summer, real heat will come to Ukraine. Starting from the weekend, air temperatures will exceed +30 degrees, and in western regions thermometers may reach +35. This was reported by forecaster and head of the media communications department of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Natalia Ptukha, during a briefing, reports UNN.

What is currently influencing this: an anticyclone is moving across Europe... this is a baric formation, meaning high atmospheric pressure, calm, mostly low-wind weather, and accordingly this situation has combined with a heated air mass. According to her, this cyclone will subsequently shift toward central Europe.

This heat will be more intense specifically for the territory of Ukraine, because now we can say it is a moderately hot summer... She noted that by the weekend, the intense heat will intensify in the western regions, and then from Monday - in the right-bank areas.
