"The so-called manifesto is a striking read, Mr. President. He seems to mention a motive in it. He writes this quote: 'Administration officials — they are targets.' And he also wrote this: 'I am no longer willing to let a pedophile, rapist, and traitor soil my hands with his crimes.' How do you react to that?" the journalist asked.

In response, Donald Trump sharply criticized the journalist and denied the allegations that could pertain to him.

"Well, I was waiting for you to read that, because I knew you would, because you — you — you are horrible people. Horrible people. Yes, he wrote that. I — I am not a rapist. I haven't raped anyone," Donald Trump said.

In addition, the U.S. President called the author of the text a "sick person" and expressed outrage that such quotes were voiced during the interview.

"I am not a pedophile. Excuse me. Excuse me. I am not a pedophile. You read this nonsense from some sick person? I've been linked to everything — things that have nothing to do with me. I was completely exonerated. Your friends on the other side of the fence are the ones who were involved in, say, the Epstein case or other things.
