Due to a tram collision on Hlybochytska Street, buses are being launched in Kyiv to partially duplicate the busiest tram route No. 18. The cause of the accident was the incorrect actions of the driver of one of the trams. This was reported on Tuesday by KCSA, UNN reports.

"Due to the tram collision, bus routes will be organized on Hlybochytska Street. It will partially duplicate the busiest tram route No. 18," KCSA said. 

Buses will reportedly run until the investigation at the scene of the accident is completed and tram traffic is restored.

According to Kyivpastrans, the tram that caused the accident was in good condition and had undergone an inspection before being put on the line. The cause of the accident was the human factor, namely, the driver's incorrect actions.

Earlier it was reported that two trams collided on Hlybochytska Street in Kyiv . According to preliminary information, six people were injured. Traffic is hampered in both directions, trams #14 and #18 are delayed.
