A thunderstorm is expected in Kyiv in the next hour and will continue until the end of the day on August 9. The KCSA reminded of the safety rules during a thunderstorm, UNN reports.
Details
The KCSA urges people to avoid being near billboards, power lines, large trees, and not to park near them during a thunderstorm.
In addition, it is necessary to tightly close the windows of houses, remove objects that may fall out from unglazed balconies and loggias.
KCSA also provided emergency phone numbers:
- If a tree has fallen or branches have broken, call the emergency dispatch service of Kyivzelenbud: 0442724018.
- When falling trees and branches threaten life, call the rescuers at: 101 or 0444303713 (KARS phone).
- In case of injury, call 103 immediately.
- In case of malfunction of traffic lights or road signs, call the following numbers: 0503873542 (DOT phone).
