According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of June 26 (from 18:00 on June 25), the enemy attacked with 7 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (targeting Kyiv and Poltava regions) from the Bryansk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation, and 189 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody"-type decoy drones from the directions: Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation, Donetsk – TOT, Hvardiiske – TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 177 targets – 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 174 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south, center, and east of the country. Hits were recorded from 4 ballistic missiles and 11 attack UAVs at 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at 6 locations
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
