Starting in April, Ukrainian military personnel, civil servants, and other officials can nominate beneficiaries to receive death benefits.
Starting this April, military personnel, employees of critical infrastructure facilities, civil servants, and police officers will have the right to draw up a personal order in the event of their death to pay benefits to family members. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Verkhovna Rada.

The law stipulates that the right to draw up a personal order in the event of one's death may be granted to those who are entitled to receive benefits:
persons holding the rank of private or commander of the civil defense service;
servicemen, persons liable for military service or reservists (called up for training (or check-up) and special training or for service in the military reserve);
employees of critical infrastructure facilities;
civil servants;
local government officials;
police officers.
The aforementioned citizens will be able to determine to whom and in what percentage a lump sum will be paid in the event of their death or death.
Minors, minors, adult disabled children, disabled widows (widowers) and disabled parents of the deceased person will be eligible for such assistance
In addition, in the absence of a personal order, it will be available to children, including adopted children of the deceased person, one of the spouses, parents, grandchildren, and dependents of the deceased person.
