The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine rejected Russia's accusations of an attack on scouts in Kharkiv, calling it Russian propaganda.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine commented on the occupiers' statements that there were allegedly were Ukrainian intelligence officers. They called it "sick fantasies propagandists of the Russian Federation", and in support of this, they posted the response of one of the commanders  of the special unit KRAKEN - Sergei "Chili" Velichko. Not a single DIU employee or fighter of the of the KRAKEN special forces were not injured. All the hits were on the infrastructure of the infrastructure of the city: residential buildings, a hotel, but not military facilities.
