As part of the agreements, the U.S. Department of the Treasury introduced a 60-day easing of sanctions, allowing Iran to export oil and receive payments for supplies. The parties also agreed on mechanisms for safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and de-escalation in Lebanon.

According to him, the parties also discussed issues of nuclear control and the management of frozen Iranian assets.

At the same time, Tehran stated that it had not taken on new commitments regarding the nuclear program. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei emphasized that the issue of the nuclear program was not a subject of agreement during the negotiations.

Against the backdrop of the negotiations, Lebanon reports the first sustained calm in a long time. According to local officials, intense hostilities ceased on Saturday evening, and Israel has already begun to lift some restrictions in border areas.
