In an interview with BBC Ukraine, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, emphasized that the situation at the front has not reached a deadlock, it has accurate logistical results, UNN reports.

I think not yet (the situation at the front has not reached a deadlock - ed.) Today it has precise logistical results. We should not forget that we are facing one of the strongest armies, which has its own resources. The large-scale invasion of the Russian aggressor has been going on for almost two years now, and almost all analysts have been predicting that we will not be able to hold out. And if we do, it will be for no more than a month or two. And the fact that the enemy has not achieved its stated goals so far is a significant success for the Ukrainian people and its army
He noted that the enemy's biggest mistake was not counting on such a unification of our nation, on the support that continues today.
"So if someone says it's a dead end, no, it's not a dead end, it's our current situation," Tarnavsky emphasized.
The commander also said that one of the reasons for the failure of the counteroffensive was the serious preparation of the enemy's defense.
"We understand that one of the main reasons is a well-prepared defense. I will say that the enemy has been preparing. And I repeat that this is one of the strongest armies in the world. Its defense consisted of not one, but several lines. The enemy built these defensive lines not in one month, but during the period when we were preparing for offensive actions. Because intelligence works around the clock," Tarnavsky added.
In addition, he noted that the Russian Federation is using its strengths - manpower, minefields, prepared positions, and a willingness to throw its personnel to their deaths without regret, and the enemy has an advantage in aviation.

The Russian military copies the most effective actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front, conducting attacks in groups.
