Kyiv • UNN
Zelenskyy stated that the operation regarding Crimea is calculated and does not allow Russia to prolong the war. Ukraine discussed with the G7 additional decisions that depend on international support.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian forces do not allow Russia to use temporarily occupied territories as a tool to prolong the war and entrench the occupation. The head of state reported this in his evening address, writes UNN.
In the south of our country, in Crimea, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, we do not allow Russia to use our lands as a tool to prolong the war and turn the occupation into an endless one
The President separately emphasized the importance of the operation regarding temporarily occupied Crimea.
"Our operation, particularly regarding Crimea, is clearly calculated," the head of state noted, adding that the course of events confirms the correctness of the chosen approach.
According to Zelenskyy, during consultations with partners within the G7, Ukraine discussed additional solutions, the implementation of which depends on international support.
If exactly what we discussed with partners within the G7 becomes available to Ukraine, and this depends on the partners' decision, we will promptly ensure conditions under which Russia will be forced to choose peace
He added that Ukraine counts on a positive response from allies and emphasized that the partners are well aware of exactly which needs of the Ukrainian side are being discussed.
Recall
The military, using Ukrainian-made middle-strike UAVs, have already struck key Crimean bridges near Chongar and Armyansk. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 and "Behemoth" drones. The bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea in Chongar was hit twice – on the night of June 6-7, and also on the night of June 9.
In addition, on June 8, a bridge leading from Henichesk to the Arabat Spit came under attack. Two more bridges across the North Crimean Canal – near the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Myrne near Armyansk – were attacked on June 11.
Furthermore, on the night of June 13, the "Dzhankoi" checkpoint, a railway bridge, and a pontoon crossing were struck. In the video recordings of the strikes, shown by the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, instead of a traditional sight, there is a green heart, characteristic of attack drones produced by Fire Point.
On the night of June 22, a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal was destroyed. The series of strikes on bridges and logistics routes connecting temporarily occupied Crimea with mainland Ukraine became another stage of the Ukrainian strategy to isolate the Russian group in the south.
