The lowest prices for vegetables, when to wait: an expert tells the forecast

The expert predicts a decline in prices for some vegetables in late August and September. The biggest reduction is expected for potatoes, onions, beets, carrots and apples.
For a certain category of vegetables, prices are expected to fall in late summer.
The former president of the Association of Farmers and Landowners of Ukraine, Ivan Tomych, told on the air of Kyiv24about the crops in question.

In late August-September, most vegetables will have the lowest prices, said Ivan Tomych, PhD in Agriculture, head of the Union of Ukrainian Peasants, on Kyiv24 TV channel.
He also pointed out which vegetables might be cheaper during this period. Among them: potatoes, beets, and apples.
Now comes the lowest pricing period for many, not all, vegetables - September and the end of August. In October, of course, there will be a greater tendency for prices to rise, but not for everyone. What can we expect in terms of prices now, what will be cheaper, but not too much. This is definitely onions. And also potatoes. The mass harvest of potatoes and onions is starting. It will definitely be an apple. It's beets. It's carrots.
