The Kremlin spokesman did not rule out Putin's communication with Trump before the inauguration of the 47th US president. At the same time, he noted that the meeting of the leaders requires careful preparation, which is not currently underway.
Communication between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump before the inauguration is not excluded, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, as quoted by the Russian media, UNN reports.

Peskov allowed Putin and Trump to communicate before the inauguration of the 47th US president.
"It [communication] is not ruled out," Peskov said.
According to the Russian telegram channel SHOT, the Kremlin representative also noted that a meeting between the leaders of the two countries is impossible without prior preparation, but no such work is currently underway.
"There are no meetings at once. Any meeting must be well prepared," Peskov said.
