A rower from Chornomorsk won a silver medal at the U23 World Canoeing Championships in Bulgaria. The head of the Odesa Regional Administration, Oleh Kiper, congratulated the young man on his victory, UNN reports .
From July 17 to 21, Plovdiv (Bulgaria) hosted the World Canoeing Championships among juniors and youth under 23. Ukraine was represented at this world forum by 48 athletes: 19 girls and 29 boys.
Daniil Dumansky, an athlete of the Children and Youth Sports School of Chernomorsk. Danyil Dumansky (coach - Igor Veskrebentsev), as part of the kayak four crew, won a silver medal at the championship. The boys finished second in the Olympic K4 500 m among juniors (01:23.048).
