"I would like to inform you that, as far as I am aware, this draft law has already been discussed in the Verkhovna Rada Committee, and a comparison table is being prepared for the second reading. I really hope that at the next meeting of the Verkhovna Rada this draft law will be introduced in the parliament," Stefanchuk said.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada noted that the President also signed a law passed by the Parliament to reduce the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 years. In addition, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill to create an electronic office for persons liable for military service, as well as a bill establishing certain guarantees for the military.
And now we are actually working on the fourth draft law. These are amendments to the law on mobilization, which will clearly establish the criteria of justice in relation to the fulfillment by Ukrainian citizens of their duty to defend the Motherland. (...) I emphasize once again that I am convinced that we will have the potential to submit it to the Verkhovna Rada at the next meeting
