Ukraine launches online registration of DNA samples to help find missing persons abroad, which will last until January 15, 2024.

Online registration for DNA samples has been launched for Ukrainians abroad whose relatives are considered missing. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, UNN reports.

To organize a quality search, we need more information. Our citizens can fill out this questionnaire electronically or come to the authorized representative in the regions .

- said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

Details

In order to identify bodies, the forensic bureau needs to have DNA from relatives for comparison. Many Ukrainians are abroad, so the Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened an online application for DNA samples to determine in which countries and cities there is a request to open additional biomaterial sampling points.
