The search and rescue operation in Chernihiv after the Russian missile attack on April 17 has ended. 18 people were killed and 78 others were injured.
A search and rescue operation has been completed in Chernihiv at the site of a missile attack by the Russian army on April 17. The enemy attack killed 18 people and injured 78 more Ukrainians, RMA head Vyacheslav Chaus said on Thursday, UNN reported.
"Search and rescue operation completed. 18 dead, 78 wounded as a result of the enemy's terrorist attack," Chaus wrote on Telegram.
According to him, 37 victims are undergoing inpatient treatment.
He also noted that all the necessary assistance is provided in local healthcare facilities, and the necessary medicines are provided.

On April 17, Russia launched deadly rocket attacks on the center of Chernihiv. Police lieutenant Alina Mykolayets was among the victims.
Today is declared the Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of Chernihiv.
