On December 24, a fire broke out on the nuclear-powered container ship Sevmorshlyakh in Murmansk, Russia. This is the largest of all four nuclear-powered merchant ships ever built. This was reported by the Russian media, UNN reports .

The area of the fire was 30 square meters. At 00:01 am Kyiv time, rescuers reported that they had extinguished the fire. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no one was injured,
