Russians launched 210 attacks during the day of May 12 - General Staff

Over the past day, May 12, 210 combat engagements were recorded at the front. Russian occupiers launched 111 air strikes, dropping 314 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the AFU.

In addition, the occupiers deployed 8,923 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,353 shellings of settlements and positions of the Defense Forces, including 148 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian troops struck 16 areas of manpower concentration and an enemy artillery system.

The situation in specific sectors of the front was as follows:

In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, over the past day, the aggressor launched six air strikes using 16 KABs, carried out 81 shellings of Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, including four using MLRS. One enemy assault action was recorded.

In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of Starytsia, Kruhle, and towards Kolodiazne, Radkivka, Lyman, and Novovasylivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked once towards Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to wedge into the Ukrainian defense five times, attacking in the area of the settlement of Stavky and towards Ozerne and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed once towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked towards Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the aggressor carried out 31 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Nove Shakhove, Vilne, and towards Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka, and Kucheriv Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 32 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Rodynske, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske and Novomykolaivka, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once towards Zlahoda.

In the Huiaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 16 attacks towards Zlahoda, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Charivne, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka and Pryvillia, Huiaipilske.

In the Orikhiv direction, according to updated information, Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, and Yehorivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct any assault actions.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers lost 1,130 people. The Defense Forces of Ukraine also neutralized two tanks, one armored fighting vehicle, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defense systems, two ground robotic systems, 1,853 unmanned aerial vehicles, 287 units of motor vehicles, and two units of special equipment.
