Russians have been equipping their strategic bombers in recent days - Ihnat

In Russia, a redeployment of tactical aviation is being recorded, as well as activity at basing airfields. The enemy equips aircraft in advance before a strike, and such activity has been observed in recent days. This was stated by Yuriy Ihnat, head of the communications department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview during a telethon, reports UNN.

There were many reports, and they do not appear without reason – we have intelligence, data from partners, and our own reconnaissance forces. Redeployment of tactical aviation and activity at basing airfields are being recorded. These are the airfields where drones once struck. The enemy usually equips aircraft in advance before a strike, and such activity was observed in recent days specifically at airfields where strategic aviation may be located. Therefore, it is possible that in the near future, in a few days... this could happen at any time, so we cannot say exactly when the enemy will strike 

He added that if it were known that a massive attack could conditionally take place today, the Air Force would have already announced it.

Earlier, Ihnat reported that Ukraine is facing a shortage of missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, IRIS-T, and other air defense systems due to intensive Russian shelling and difficulties with weapons supplies, which has led to the depletion of stockpiles.
