In the Sumy region, Russian troops attacked a combine harvester during harvest time. The attack killed a 37-year-old combine operator and injured his 59-year-old assistant.

On Sunday, July 21, Russian troops attacked a combine harvester during harvesting in Sumy region. As a result of the enemy attack, one person was killed and another was wounded. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, UNN reports.

Details

According to the investigation, on July 21, 2024, at about 16:40, the enemy attacked, according to preliminary information, a combine harvester harvesting crops in the Bilopil community of Sumy district.

A 37-year-old harvester operator was killed and his 59-year-old assistant was injured. (...) Under the procedural control of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

Currently, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the SBU Office in Sumy region.

On the afternoon of July 21,  residential areas in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson were attacked. The attack wounded at least four people.
