Russian troops attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 69 times on July 12 - General Staff

The occupiers carried out 69 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops, shelling a number of settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. The most assaults were repelled in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk directions.
Since the beginning of the day on July 12, Russian occupiers have attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 69 times. The settlements of Korenyok, Seredyna-Buda, Khliborob, Tovstodubove, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Ryzhivka, Hirky, Sopych in Sumy region and Liady in Chernihiv region suffered from shelling. Volfyne, Vilna Sloboda, and Ulanove were subjected to airstrikes. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers stormed the positions of the Defense Forces three times, carried out 36 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders tried to break through the defense five times in the area of Vovchansk and towards the settlements of Lyman, Grafske, Mala Vovcha.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out one offensive towards Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Novyi Myr, Lyman, Dibrova, Stavky.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian invaders carried out one attack in the area of the settlement of Nykyforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled 13 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ilinivka and towards Dovha Balka, Vilne and Kucherovyi Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 15 times to push Ukrainian soldiers out of their positions in the areas of the settlements of Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlement of Nove Shakhove.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy once tried to advance towards Vorone.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
