Yevgeny Poddubny, a Russian military correspondent for the VDTRK TV channel, was wounded in the Kursk region. He is in hospital. This was reported by the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, where Poddubny worked, UNN reports.

"VDTRK military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny was wounded as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack in the Kursk region. He is now in a regional hospital," the statement said.

Prior to that, a number of Russian telegram channels and media outlets reported the death of Russian propagandist Yevhen Poddubny. The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine also reported his death.
