In the skies over Ukraine overnight, of the 10 Shahed attack drones launched by Russian troops, two were shot down, two more fell on their own, and most of the enemy missiles did not reach their targets, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, said on Thursday, UNN reports.

On the night of August 22, according to Oleshchuk, the Russian occupiers struck with 10 Shahed UAVs from the Kursk direction.
"The enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the frontline areas of Kharkiv region with most of the detected "Shaheds". The enemy also used X-31P anti-radar missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Belgorod region and Crimea," the Ukrainian Air Force commander said on Telegram.
