The Ukrainian Air Force claims that the Russian command ruthlessly sends its pilots to "kill" them
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said at a briefing that the Russian command sends its pilots to "kill" them, realizing that Ukraine has air defense systems that can shoot them down, UNN reports.

"This is not about finding any weaknesses. Strike groups of aircraft, in particular Su-34s, strike with guided bombs. This is not a search for weaknesses. This is striking the front line. They do this quite a lot, quite often in different directions," Ihnat said.
He added that sometimes the Russians are "impudent" and come too close, as was the case in Odesa region when the defense forces shot down Su-24m.
"The Russian command ruthlessly sends its pilots to be killed, realizing that we already have the means to catch the enemy where he is not expecting it. Of course, these means are not enough. I wish every region had such long-range weapons that could destroy the enemy," Ihnat added.
In addition, he noted that after the downing of three planes in southern Ukraine, the enemy stopped conducting air strikes. He also added that Ukraine will receive more air defense systems and Western fighters with long-range missiles.
