As a result of the Russian missile attack on the central part of Kharkiv, one person was killed, more than 20 were injured, and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.
In Kharkiv, the morning rocket attack by Russian troops resulted in one death and more than 20 injured people, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Syniehubov, UNN reports.
At about 07:30, the occupiers struck the central part of Kharkiv, in particular in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The type of missiles is being established. At this moment, there are more than 20 victims. One person is dead
According to him, apartment buildings, outbuildings, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged, and cars were on fire.
The information is being updated. The services will continue to inspect the impact sites, he added.
Over the past day, according to the head of the RMA, about 20 localities in Kharkiv region suffered artillery and mortar attacks, including: Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district; Vovchansk, Budarky, Chuhuiv district; Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove, Kupiansk district.
According to Sinehubov, the enemy launched air strikes near Mala Vovcha and Okhrimivka in Chuhuiv district; Petropavlivka and Kucherivka in Kupyansk district; and Cherneshchyna in Izium district.
"Yesterday at 14:16 and 21:22 the enemy shelled the town of Vovchansk in Chuhuiv district. Two private houses, a shop, outbuildings and a car were damaged. There were no casualties," he said.
"Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kupyansk district," said the RMA head.
