On the night of June 24, Russian troops attacked Balakliya in the Kharkiv region with strike drones. As a result of the shelling, a 56-year-old woman was killed, reports UNN citing the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to the head of the region, a local resident died as a result of the attack. Another 21-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
The strikes damaged four private residential buildings, a store, and an outbuilding. Fires broke out at the impact sites.
Emergency services are currently working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack and are recording the damage caused.
