Russian troops attacked critical infrastructure on the border of Chernihiv region, leaving nine settlements without electricity. UNN reports this with reference to the police of Chernihiv region. 

The enemy army targeted the power supply equipment and a water tower in one of the border villages of the Snovska community. The shelling left nine settlements without electricity. Fortunately, no people were injured

- the police said in a Facebook post.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

Law enforcement officials are urging people to evacuate to safer communities inland.
