According to him, the incident occurred while the tanker was entering the Azov-Black Sea maritime channel. The fire was contained.

The governor also claims that during the night, air defense forces allegedly shot down over 20 drones. According to him, attacks were recorded over the Taganrog Bay, the cities of Taganrog and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, as well as in four districts of the Rostov region.
