Kyiv • UNN
Russia refuses to participate in the Peace Summit supported by many states and organizations, confirming its unwillingness to make peace and its desire to continue its aggressive war against Ukraine.
By refusing to participate in the Peace Summit, which was supported by dozens of states and organizations around the world, Russia once again confirms that it does not really want peace, but seeks to continue the war of aggression against Ukraine. UNN reports this with reference to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that the Russian side is not going to participate in the next meeting of the Peace Summit initiated by Ukraine. He called the Peace Formula an "ultimatum" and the invitation to Russia an "attempt to rehabilitate for the failed summit in Switzerland
At the same time, it is noted that a representative of Moscow stated that it "deliberately ignores other initiatives to resolve the Ukrainian crisis."
In this way, Russia is once again trying to discredit Ukraine's peace initiatives and divert the world's attention from the Ukrainian peace formula based on the UN Charter and international law, promoting its "peace plans", which are in fact another encroachment on Ukraine's sovereignty. By refusing to participate in the Peace Summit, which was supported by dozens of states and organizations, Moscow once again confirms that it does not really want peace, but seeks to continue the war of aggression against our country
