Russia closes stations at three stations in the Kursk region

In the Kursk region of Russia, the stations at Sudzha, Korenevo and Psyol have been temporarily closed. Trains are running normally in the region, except for the Sudzha and Korenevo districts.
In Russia, stations at a number of stations in the Kursk region have been temporarily closed to passengers amid the fighting. This is reported by the Russian media with reference to the press service of the Russian Railways, UNN reports .

It is noted that, with the exception of the Suzhansky and Korenevsky districts, train traffic in the region is normal.

On August 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged that the Ukrainian military was advancing in two districts of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
As Bloomberg reported, the Ukrainian military's breakthrough into Russia's Kursk region is the first time since World War II that a foreign army has invaded Russia.
