Russia attacked Ukraine with ballistics, 79 out of 88 drones neutralized

On the night of June 22, the Russians struck with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 88 unmanned aerial vehicles. The defense forces shot down or suppressed 79 drones, with a missile hit and 5 UAVs recorded.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of June 22 (from 6:00 p.m. on June 21), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as well as 88 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and imitation drones of the "Parody" type from the directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – russia, Gvardiyske – temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, temporarily occupied Donetsk.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 79 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. A hit by a ballistic missile and 5 strike UAVs at 6 locations were recorded, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at 9 locations
