Russia attacked the railway in Zaporizhzhia and port infrastructure in Odesa overnight, killing one and injuring another, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba announced on Wednesday in Telegram, UNN reports.

At the moment of the strike, according to him, a train with an electric locomotive was on the tracks.
"The assistant machinist was fatally injured. The machinist was hospitalized," the deputy prime minister said.
Odesa's port infrastructure was also under Russian attack
According to him, fires broke out as a result of drone hits. "No casualties. Piers, warehouses, railway infrastructure and port operators' facilities were damaged," Kuleba noted.
"As a result of the hits, fires broke out, which firefighters, together with the port's fire department, quickly extinguished," the State Emergency Service added.
"Another proof of terrorism, Russia is fighting against peaceful people, against those who were just doing their job and keeping the country moving," the deputy prime minister emphasized.
