Air defense forces repelled a UAV attack in two regions. In the Bucha district, a blast wave damaged a car and a building; there are no casualties among the people.
The Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions came under Russian attack on the night of April 1, local authorities reported, according to UNN.
Kyiv Region
"There was another attack by enemy drones tonight," noted Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. "Fortunately, our air defense forces worked perfectly—no hits on residential or critical infrastructure were allowed."
"Thanks to the successful defense of our skies, we are recording minor consequences of the attack in the Bucha district. Here, an explosive wave slightly damaged a car and a non-residential building. The main thing is that people are safe," the head of the Regional Military Administration stated on Telegram.
Zhytomyr Region
"Early this morning, the enemy once again treacherously attacked the Zhytomyr region, endangering the lives of civilians. We thank the air defense forces for their effective work and constant readiness to defend our skies," stated Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
