Russia attacked Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions overnight - what is known

Air defense forces repelled a UAV attack in two regions. In Bucha district, a car and a building were damaged by an explosive wave, with no casualties among people.
Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions were attacked by Russia on the night of April 1, local authorities reported, writes UNN.
Kyiv region
"Tonight there was another attack by enemy drones," said Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. "Fortunately, our air defense forces worked perfectly - no hits on residential and critical infrastructure were allowed."
"Thanks to the successful defense of our sky, we record minor consequences of the attack in the Bucha district. Here, an explosion wave insignificantly damaged a car and a non-residential building. The main thing is that people are safe," the head of the RMA noted on Telegram.
Zhytomyr region
"Today, in the morning, the enemy treacherously attacked Zhytomyr region again, endangering the lives of civilians. We thank the air defense forces for their effective work and constant readiness to defend our sky," said Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
