On Tuesday night, authorities in seven Russian regions reported drone attacks. In two regions - Oryol and Nizhny Novgorod - the strikes hit an oil plant and an oil depot, UNN reported, citing Russian media.

In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that overnight Russian air defense "destroyed and intercepted" 25 Ukrainian "airplane-type" drones over Russian regions. The Russian military said that seven drones were destroyed over the Belgorod region, 11 over the Kursk region, two over the Moscow and Orel regions, and one in the Bryansk, Leningrad and Tula regions.
The governors of the Oryol and Nizhny Novgorod regions confirmed that drone strikes had started fires at fuel and energy companies located there.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense does not mention the attack on the refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The governor of the Oryol region of the Russian Federation, Andrey Klychkov, said that a fuel and energy complex facility was attacked. A fire broke out.
The governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, Glib Nikitin, confirmed the reports of a drone strike on the oil refinery in Kstovo.
"In the morning, the Kstovo industrial zone, a facility of the fuel and energy complex, was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles," Nikitin said.
The impact caused a fire at one of the oil refineries.
