The Russian Ombudsman said that Russia and Ukraine conducted the first exchange of parcels and letters for prisoners of war.
A humanitarian exchange of parcels and letters from relatives for Russian and Ukrainian prisoners of war has been carried out at the Russian-Ukrainian border. This was reported by Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova in Telegram, UNN reports.
"Today, for the first time, by mutual agreement with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lubinets, a humanitarian exchange of parcels and letters from relatives for Russian prisoners of war held in Ukraine and for Ukrainian soldiers detained and held in Russia was carried out on the Russian-Ukrainian border with the support and participation of the competent authorities," Moskalkova said.
