The National Resistance Headquarters has received evidence that the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant in Belarus is overhauling and modifying Russian Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters, directly supporting Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

The National Resistance Center gained access to the mail of one of the Belarusian military-industrial complex engineers, and with it evidence that the 558th Aviation Repair Plant (Baranovichi) is carrying out major repairs and modifications of Russian Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters.

This was reported by the Center for National Resistance, according to UNN.

Thanks to people who care, the National Resistance Center has received further evidence of the military-industrial complex of Belarus working for the Kremlin. Occupied during the presidency of Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus has no subjectivity and is currently directly involved in the Kremlin's aggression against our country. However, not all Belarusians are happy with this situation, and local underground forces continue to provide information about the crimes of the puppet regime

It is reported that thanks to the help of Belarusian colleagues, the CNS gained access to the mail of one of the Belarusian military-industrial complex engineers, and thus evidence that the 558th Aviation Repair Plant (Baranovichi) is carrying out major repairs and modifications of Russian Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters.

In addition, the plant in Baranovichi is developing the LMS-192 light multipurpose airplane together with the Russians. It is planned to increase the Russian contribution to this project to 50% of the total funding. Interestingly, representatives of the Russian defense industry complain about the impossibility of purchasing UK-made machine tools due to sanctions. As an alternative, the Russians offered to purchase machines manufactured by the Taiwanese company E-tech Machinery

- informs the CNS.

It is noted that, in general, internal correspondence contains a lot of information about difficulties with the manufacture of parts caused by a lack of equipment. The CNS noted that despite direct involvement in the Russian aggression against Ukraine, key employees of the 558th ARZ use their Belarusian citizenship to travel freely in Europe.

"In particular, we have evidence that the chief designer of the 558th artillery system, Ihor Yevhenovych Antsiferov, traveled to Germany in 2023 with his wife Svetlana Leonidovna Antsiferova and his eldest daughter Polina Antsiferova to celebrate the New Year in the small town of Gerlitz in Saxony. According to our information, the whole family of the Antsiferovs has dual Russian-Belarusian citizenship. This is very convenient for traveling to Europe for the New Year holidays on a Belarusian passport," the CNS says.
