According to the agency, Hamas has promised to release 50 prisoners held in the Gaza Strip by the end of the month. in the Gaza Strip in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners.

In a comment to the BBC Israeli Prime Minister's adviser Mark Regev said that the primary task today is the release of women and children held hostage by Hamas.

According to him, people were selected for release "by category," and priority was women and children were given priority.
