Retranslators on the territory of Belarus have ceased operations since June 22 – Zelenskyy

Since the beginning of this week, repeaters that Russia used for Shahed strikes on Ukraine have stopped working on the territory of Belarus. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this while answering journalists' questions, reports UNN.

Details

"According to the available information, which was reported to me by the Commander-in-Chief (Oleksandr Syrskyi - ed.) and intelligence, since June 22, the relevant repeaters have ceased their operation on the territory of Belarus," the head of state said.

The President added that he does not know whether such repeaters have been dismantled. However, Ukraine is "working on it," and he himself is closely monitoring the situation and receiving daily reports.

"The fact is that the repeaters are not working today," Zelensky emphasized.

Reminder

On June 21, President Zelensky stated that Ukraine demands Belarus dismantle the repeaters that help Russian drones. Kyiv gave Minsk a week to comply with the demand, otherwise Ukraine will do it itself.
