The contact group chaired by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin continues to work in full swing to provide Ukraine with the capabilities necessary to counter Russian aggression, as announced during the 20th meeting in the Ramstein format.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group continues to move forward at full speed to provide Ukraine with the capabilities it needs. This was stated by the head of the US Department of Defense Lloyd Austin, who chaired the meeting in the Ramstein format today, UNN reports.

"It is a pleasure to be back in Ramstein for the 20th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense. This Contact Group continues to move forward at full speed to provide Ukraine with the capabilities it needs. Today, our message is clear: Ukraine will not back down, and neither will the United States," Austin wrote in X.
During the meeting, the Pentagon chief indicated that "we remain determined to provide Ukraine with the resources it needs to withstand the Kremlin's aggression. And so are the countries of conscience gathered here today. Together, this Contact Group continues to dig deeper to get vital security assistance to Ukraine.

The Ramstein format meeting takes place at the US military base Ramstein in Germany.
Austin, who is making his first trip abroad since undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, is chairing a meeting with about 50 allies who provide military support to Ukraine.
