Four pseudo-employees of the TCC and the SBI extorted UAH 1.7 million from a Kyiv resident, promising to make him a "white" military ID.
Four pseudo-employees of the TCC and the SBI were detained who demanded UAH 1.7 million from a Kyiv resident for assistance in obtaining a "white" military ID.

The police served suspicion notices to 4 members of the criminal group on the facts of illegal deprivation of liberty, extortion and fraud.
According to the investigation, one of the suspects offered the victim, a resident of Kyiv, assistance in obtaining a "white" military ID. The cost of the service was UAH 388 thousand. After receiving the money, 3 more accomplices were involved in the case.
From January to March 2024, members of the group systematically threatened the Kyiv resident with "sending him to the front" using fake screenshots and fake detentions. The perpetrators also waited for the victim near his home and work, dressed in military uniforms to make themselves look convincing.
In one of the episodes, they organized a fake detention and demanded another UAH 600 thousand for "closing the issue" of a fake military ID. Later, the suspects staged a scenario of sending the victim to serve in a combat zone.
In total, under various pretexts, the members of the criminal group received about UAH 1.7 million from the victim.

The criminals were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. while transferring USD 4,000.
Currently, custody has been chosen as a measure of restraint for 4 members of the criminal group.
