The court postponed the imposition of a preventive measure on Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee. Prosecutors request arrest with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 121 million, suspecting him of illicit enrichment of UAH 56 million.

The HACCU has postponed the hearing on choosing a preventive measure for the head of the Antimonopoly Committee Pavlo Kyrylenko to August 27, UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.

Prosecutors are requesting that he be placed in custody with the possibility of bail in excess of UAH 121 million.

At the meeting, prosecutors described the processes of buying real estate by Kirilenko's relatives. Afterwards, Kyrylenko said that the investigation "did not collect evidence in accordance with the suspicion and the crime itself is missing". He also said that he would not be able to travel abroad without the permission of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Kyrylenko is suspected of illicit enrichment of over UAH 56 million. The pre-trial investigation found that in 2020-2023, when Kirilenko was the head of the Donetsk RMA, he became the owner of 21 properties and a luxury car, and registered the ownership rights to his wife's relatives.
