Poland and France held the first meeting of the joint steering group on nuclear cooperation in Paris on July 10, during which they discussed current issues of European security. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, writes UNN.

The Polish Foreign Ministry noted that the consultations took place based on the proposal of the French President to launch a strategic dialogue with European partners on the concept of forward deterrence.
During the meeting, the delegations defined the framework for further detailed negotiations and bilateral cooperation. Warsaw emphasized that such interaction should contribute to strengthening the security of Poland, France, and all of Europe.
