Pentagon: Russia moves “small number of forces” to Kursk region

The United States has recorded the movement of a small number of Russian forces to the Kursk region. However, the Pentagon spokesperson did not specify which Russian forces were moving to this area.
The United States has recorded the redeployment of a certain part of Russian forces to the territory of the Kursk region. This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokesman Major General Pat Ryder, UNN reports .

According to Ryder, the United States "does see signs that the Russians are redeploying small forces to the Kursk region to respond" to the Ukrainian offensive.
The U.S. official characterized the number of these Russian forces sent to the Kursk region as small.
He also added that the U.S. side "continues to see some advances" by the Ukrainian army in the region.
However, the Pentagon spokesperson did not specify which Russian forces are moving to this area, and whether they are moving to the Kursk region from the frontline in Ukraine or from other regions in the aggressor country.
