Parts of five regions remain without power supply due to enemy attacks and bad weather, consumption has dropped, the Ministry of Energy and NPC Ukrenergo reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.
Enemy attacks
As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are temporarily left without power supply
Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to all subscribers as quickly as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock, the ministry noted.
Bad weather
"Due to bad weather, 20 settlements in Kirovohrad and Sumy regions remain without power supply," the statement reads.
Repair crews are working on restoration.
Consumption
"No restrictions are forecast for today," the Ministry of Energy indicated.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has decreased. The reason for the changes is cloudless weather across the entire territory of Ukraine. This ensures efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding reduction in the volume of energy consumption from the general grid.
"Active energy consumption today should be shifted to daytime hours - from 09:00 to 17:00. In the evening hours, we ask consumers, if possible, to use electricity sparingly - from 18:00 to 22:00. This helps reduce the load on the system," the Ministry of Energy noted.
